ABOUT THE ARTIST
David Cragg @davidcragg
David Cragg is a multidisciplinary artist of Bundjalung, Biripi and European ancestry, working and living on Dharawal Country (Wollongong NSW). He is a muralist, fine artist, designer, writer, sculptor, photographer and youth/disability community worker. He has exhibited work, painted large scale murals, curated public art installations, performed live art, and delivered art-making workshops and mentorship across Australia.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
‘Torana’ is a piece from my solo show ‘Ferals’ with Backwoods Gallery. It depicts the intersection of colonial destruction and mother earth, represented by a muscle car on a road, set amongst a mountainous Dharawal landscape. The original work now lives with a collector.
HOW ART AID WORKS
Choose your print size and select one of our charity partners, we will then donate one-third of the profits to the cause of your choice.
Every month we will send David a full breakdown of the $$ impact his artwork has made on the planet, pretty rad right?
