ABOUT THE ARTIST
Aurora Campbell @aurora_campbell
Aurora Campbell is a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator, working predominantly in ink on paper. Using fine intricate line work to capture the human form, her work explores the human condition through sexuality, bodies, gender and fragility. Aurora’s work is unashamed, raw and evocative. Her practice has heavy roots in observational drawing and life drawing, as well as murals and public art. When she isn’t in the studio, she is usually perched in a public place sketching passers-by or teaching life drawing classes.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
'Flattery Operated' is a playful exploration into the notion of being a sucker. It is a humorous jab at the hopeless romantics amongst us, and how far a bit of simple flattery can travel.
HOW ART AID WORKS
Choose your print size and select one of our charity partners, we will then donate a portion of the profits to the cause of your choice.
Every year we will send Campbell a full breakdown of the $$ impact her artwork has made on the planet, pretty rad right?
