ABOUT THE ARTIST
Unwell Bunny / Ed Bechervaise @unwellbunny
An artist based in Melbourne whose artistic career began in the early days of 90’s graffiti following a mix of both letter and character-based aerosol art. Ed has an early history in Melbourne street art. His work is now largely focused on feeling based visual narratives and abstraction. By drawing on subconscious processes, Ed interprets known imagery through life experiences in disruptive, challenging and provocative ways.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is part of a series of landscape works that continue to explore the subconscious. Observing the coastline and foliage, as well as mountainous areas, led to a series of works that use colour and shapes, with expressive strokes and line work to create sensory images of landscape frontiers.
