ABOUT THE ARTIST
George Goodnow @george.goodnow
George Goodnow is a multidisciplinary artist living in Naarm (Melbourne). Their practice incorporates painting and murals, as well as sculpture and site-specific installations. By fabricating fictional architectures and objects, or adjusting existing architectures, George investigates relationships between spaces, objects and bodies. Their work frequently explores feelings of disorientation, binaries and queerness within suburban and urban landscapes.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work seeks to describe complicated human feelings and relationships through everyday inanimate objects. In particular, it explores dynamics of co-dependency and connection. Objects and architectures in our day-to-day lives offer stories about ourselves – our activities, our relationships to each other and ways of being in the world.
HOW ART AID WORKS
Choose your print size and select one of our charity partners, we will then donate one-third of the profits to the cause of your choice.
Every month we will send George a full breakdown of the $$ impact their artwork has made on the planet, pretty rad right?
